"Haunting the Barn" is the twelfth episode in the first season of the Canadian police drama television series Flashpoint. The episode first aired on January 23, 2009. An SRU veteran diverts some of the team with a fake bomb threat while temporarily taking Kira hostage. He then holes himself up in a room at SRU headquarters, and the team finds out that he plans to commit suicide because of his guilt over an old case. Having served under the man for many years, Ed is able to talk him down by admitting that he also feels guilt for lives he couldn't save. Both Ed and Greg recognize how much of an effect the SRU can have on a person, and Greg decides to file a formal report because keeping these things 'in house' has proven itself to have more negative effects than positive.
